Tuition and other policies

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE

$125 per family for the first child and $50 per additional child is charged upon initial registration and annually thereafter.
Payment of this fee reserves your child’s place and helps defray the cost of record keeping. It is not refundable. Sign-ups for the following year and summer commence in January. Open Enrollment begins in February, at Open House.

PAYMENT POLICY

Tuition is due and payable on the first day of each month. Summer session pay periods are noted on the sign-up form.

TUITION

Full tuition is charged regardless of attendance. The amount is formulated by totaling all preschool days during the school year, taking holidays and workdays into account. The sum is divided into nine equal payments, coinciding with the first day of each month, September through May.

ADDITIONAL INFO

Discounts, fees, and other policies.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

The child who is enrolled for the most days per week pays full tuition. 10% is deducted from each additional child’s fee. (This discount only applies to siblings.)

BUDDY BONUS

HHCP will credit $100 toward your child’s regular tuition when a “buddy” enrolls due to your reference and pays their second full month’s tuition. (Not available to siblings.)

LATE PICK-UP FEE

After 12:05 p.m., a late pick-up fee of $10.00 per child will be assessed. For each additional five minutes, or fraction thereof, an additional $10.00 will be charged for each child. This fee may be paid upon pick-up or recorded and added to your next month’s tuition if it is not paid that day. All overdue charges carry the same penalty as delinquent tuition.

DELINQUENT TUITION/FEES

Tuition, and any other fees, are late after the 15th day of each month. A $15 late payment charge will be assessed on payments made after the 15th. All unsettled charges are considered delinquent as of the last day of said month. Nonpayment prevents us from allowing your child(ren) to return to HHCP until all fees and charges have been paid. In the event that the child does not return to HHCP, all outstanding amounts will be due immediately. Late charges continue to accrue monthly.

DISHONORED CHECKS

Please note that checks are deposited throughout the month. A $50.00 fee will be charged for each returned check. The dishonored check and the fee incurred must be redeemed in cash prior to the next school day or be considered delinquent. After two dishonored checks, all subsequent payments must be made by bank-generated check or cash.

HEALTH PRACTICES

All registration forms must be completed and returned before your child’s first day at HHCP, along with a copy of your child’s current immunizations (list of requirements posted). The ID/Emergency and Consent for Medical Treatment forms must include your child’s medical and dental record numbers in order that HHCP may obtain emergency care for your child in the event that the parent and doctor are not immediately available. 9-1-1 may be called for Emergency Medical and/or Dental Procedures, at the parent’s expense. REMEMBER TO UPDATE ALL RECORDS AS CHANGES OCCUR. The staff is CPR/First Aid certified and we are equipped with first aid kits. As your child is with us for less than four hours a day HHCP does not dispense medicine. Administering medication is the responsibility of the parent. Do not send any over-the-counter or prescription medications--including diaper cream, lip balm, and sunscreen--to preschool with the child EXCEPT prescriptions required for life-threatening illnesses or allergies, specifically, a metered-dose inhaler, nebulizer machine, blood glucose monitoring equipment, or Epi-Pen. If any of these are necessary for your child, the parent must train all preschool staff members in the proper use as directed in writing by the child’s physician and fill out the appropriate paperwork.   The authorized adult representative must also keep medications and instructions up-to-date; dispose of outdated medications offsite; and remove the medications from the facility at the end of the child's attendance.  See handbook for more information.
